Yes. In accordance with Washington DC regulations, a valid medical marijuana card is required to enter and purchase products from our dispensary. This applies to both DC residents and out-of-state visitors with qualifying credentials.
We currently hold a delivery license, but our delivery services are not active yet. Delivery will roll out during Phase 2 of our launch, and updates will be shared on our website and social channels as soon as it’s available.
Our cannabis is locally cultivated in Washington DC. We work directly with Alternative Solutions, a licensed cultivator known for consistent quality. Our edibles are sourced from Pink Fox, and we’ll be expanding our vendor lineup with additional reputable partners starting in April.
“Helva” is the Portuguese word for grass, a subtle nod to cannabis and our cultural roots. It reflects our intention to bring an elevated, community-inspired experience to DC’s cannabis scene.
Yes, medical cannabis is legal in Washington DC. All purchases must comply with the city’s medical marijuana regulations, which include presenting a valid medical card issued by ABRA (Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration).
You must register for a medical marijuana card through the ABRA DC website. Registration is free for DC residents, while non-residents must pay a fee. Be sure to bring a valid government-issued photo ID and your medical marijuana card when visiting RELVA.
No, placing an online order is not required, but it is highly recommended—especially if you’re looking for specific products. Online ordering helps secure availability and reduces wait times.
Consumption is not currently allowed inside our retail space. In the future, we plan to offer a Consumption Lounge or Summergarden, where customers will be able to enjoy products in a safe and comfortable setting. Stay tuned for updates.

Went in last week, had an amazing experience The guy at the door was incredible professional and even welcomed me to the neighborhood The women working behind the counter is incredible knowledgeable about every product, and the area in general reckoning a few local spots near by, i would 100% recommended this store to anyone!

My boyfriend and I were traveling from out of town and stopped by Relva CBD. The owners were very nice. They were very knowledgable on the products they had in the store and helped guide us to pick out the products best suited for us. They also suggest some local spots around town for us to visit. We ate a couple CBD gummies then went to a cool art spot they suggested. We had the best time and highly recommend this spot to others.

Sadly, I KEEP missing their Happy Hours (super sad face) but this place is a HAPPY find. I’ve gone in a few times at this point and the customer service was stellar! Since we are in a pandemic, I believe masks are mandatory or maybe I just wore mine not sure. DO MAKE SURE TO GRAB CASH!!! That’s the only “downside” (but not really, they can and are always willing to give you the total and they do have an atm). Now for the products- I don’t typically leave too many reviews but when I say I’ve tried a lot of things, I mean I’ve tried A LOT. And this has to be probably the best quality I’ve had! From smell to appearance – just beyond words. One day just stroll in and ask about their products. That’s the best description and review I can give because they’re so amazing that you have to see all the options and choices to believe it. And to the owners and workers: y’all are doing AMAZING! You really keep me coming back and the patience y’all have for everyone is so nice to see these days.

I just stopped working at Takoma Wellness and started shopping here I haven’t been able to get a body high with the weed from Takoma but my first 3.5 had me ready to relax and unwind. I’m a tourist visiting from Canada, and these guys were so incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn’t really know the process for shopping and they walked me through it (very simple) in about 5 mins. First off it has THE CUTEST store front (picture below). Then I was greeted by a super friendly security guard who checked my ID. Then we chopped it up a bit about Texas while I used the ATM because #CashOnly. I knew what I wanted (sativa please!) So there wasn’t a lot of “shop talk” The employee who helped me (super cute brunette #HeyGirlHey) gave me good info on 2 different hybrids which helped me make my decision. She was super nice I will definitely be back here anytime I return to DC. I’ve been traveling all over the country and have been to many dispensaries and this was by far the best service I’ve received. I definitely recommend!!

10/10 when it comes to dispensaries in the city. I went here the other day (yesterday) & got their “Duct Tape” 1/8 & it was fiiirreeeeee . I rolled 1.4g of it & I was definitely cooked for AT LEAST 2 hours and get this … I only smoked 1/2 the Jay at that time !! The price, the experience was WILL WORTH IT!
